Family caregivers will be assessed for their ability to respond to medical emergencies and Elders needs. If additional assistance maybe needed for the homecare situation it will be provided. Family member being cared for may request to opt out of additional outside assistance, but must sign a notarized waiver as to this request.

IN HOME FAMILY CARE

Elder patients in our Eldercare 22 program may choose a family member to provide care for them for one or multiple work shifts. Work shifts are limited to 8 hours daily at which time a home health aide will be provided, or the Elder may choose a second family member to care for the additional required hours.
